The Leading Light in Water Disinfection
atg UV Technology, Hall W5, Stand G26-G28
IE expo China, April 15-17, 2019, Shanghai
UV disinfection experts, atg UV Technology, will be exhibiting their latest products at the IE expo China on Stand G26-G28, Hall W5. Chemical-free UV disinfection is now the process of choice for municipal water supply, industrial process water and wastewater treatment, and independent UK company atg UV has over 30 years of experience in the technology
atg UV is already active in Asia having just completed a 250m3/h drinking water scheme in Vietnam. Barry Hopton, the company’s Municipal Business Manager is eager to continue the company’s expansion into the Asian market “This exhibition is a global platform for us to showcase new cutting-edge solutions for smart nations, sustainable water and urban environments.” atg UV will be showing a WF medium pressure system and their new UVLX low pressure system.
Global climate change and growing urbanisation are stressing water resources, and that means that treated wastewater is increasingly being reclaimed for crop irrigation, industrial process water and as a source for drinking water. In these applications a higher level of disinfection is required and this met by significantly higher UV doses of 50 – 100 mJ/cm2.
“UV is an excellent disinfectant for drinking water supply, even against chlorine-resistant species like Cryptosporidium, and produces no disinfection by-products. It is equally effective in treating sewage works effluent to meet bathing water microbiological standards”, says Hopton.
Be sure to visit atg UV on stand G26-G28 where they will have a translator available for all three days of the Expo. atg UV has applications in many industries from food and beverage to offshore oil and gas, and pharmaceuticals and if you can’t get to Shanghai, visit their website: www.atguv.com for more details about chemical-free water disinfection systems
Interviews: Barry Hopton will be available in at the Expo for interviews. He has been in the UV industry for nearly 10 years with considerable knowledge and holds an MBA in Engineering/Industrial Management, MSc (Eng) Product Engineering & Management, University of Liverpool and BSc (Hons) Engineering, Sheffield Hallam University.
