BBC Breakfast’s Mike Bushell spent some time at Surf Snowdonia last weekend, catching some waves and meeting some of the other surfers.
Within his report, Mike mentions that the clean water afforded to Surf Snowdonia is treated by UV Light – ensuring it is safe, clean, chemical free and able to be discharged into local streams and rivers. The UV treatment plant at Surf Snowdonia was designed, built and installed by atg UV Technology and was packaged within a 30 foot container and included a pre-filtration package, followed by an ultra-compact, high output medium pressure system.
Through ensuring a flexible approach to engineering and design, atg UV Technology has become the clear market leader for bespoke UV packages and high specification design. Through working on this project, atg UV Technology are one of the only UV disinfection companies in the world that has the in-depth knowledge and experience to help treat a large body of water using chemical-free solutions.
